Terms of Service

Hapjam is a discovery platform that helps people find live music and events near them. We aggregate and display listings for venues, performers, and events. We are not the organizer of these events and don't control them.

Listings can be wrong or change. Times, lineups, covers, and hours are often supplied by third parties or estimated. Always confirm with the venue before you go — call ahead for anything that matters.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hapjam, and old enough to form a binding contract in your location. Some venues and events have their own age requirements that we don't control.

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

If you claim or manage a venue or performer page, you represent that you are authorized to do so. We may request verification and may approve, reject, suspend, or remove any listing or claim at our discretion. Submitting false ownership information may result in removal and account termination.

You keep ownership of the reviews, listings, photos, links, and other content you submit. You grant Hapjam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content to operate and promote the service.

You agree not to post content that is false, unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or that you don't have the right to share. We may remove content that violates these terms.

• Don't scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the service except as expressly permitted.
• Don't spam, post fake reviews or listings, or impersonate others.
• Don't attempt to breach security, disrupt the service, or access data you're not authorized to.
• Don't use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Venues and performers may purchase optional paid plans or promotions. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (Stripe) on a recurring basis until cancelled, at the prices shown at purchase. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and your paid features end at the close of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with reasonable notice.

The venues, performers, and external sites shown on Hapjam are operated by third parties. We don't endorse them and aren't responsible for their events, accuracy, conduct, or content.

The Hapjam name, logo, software, and design are ours and are protected by law. These terms don't grant you any right to use them except to use the service as intended.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that listings are accurate, complete, or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the service and any reliance on a listing is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hapjam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or events you missed, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold Hapjam harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

You can stop using Hapjam anytime and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or its users.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
